Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
When you arrive at Kathmandu International Airport, our representative will
greet you warmly and wait for us outside the airport to help coordinate your
transport straight away into the provided hotel located within Kathmandu
city. The rest of the day is yours to relax or explore out into the lively
atmosphere before returning overnight.

Nepal Tourist Visa Information:
Indian passport holders can visit Nepal without applying for a visa.
However, it is mandatory for Indian citizens to possess either a valid India
passport or Voter Identity Card during their entry into Kathmandu’s
Tribhuvan International Airport from all international airports in the
Republic of India. Kindly know that Aadhaar Cards and Driving Licenses
cannot be used for boarding flights bound for Kathmandu from airports in
India. Individuals with non-Indian passports, however, can also obtain a
Nepalese visa on arrival at Kathmandu International Airport. They can also
get the Nepal entry visa online, which makes it efficient and gives them
more time when they land at Kathmandu International Airport.
Tibet Group Travel Visa Information:
Indian passport holders looking for a Chinese visa, regardless of their home
country and geographical destination must send the original passport to
China Embassy in New Delhi through tour company which has managed Tibet
entry permit and invitations. It normally takes the China Embassy in Delhi
4-5 working days to arrive at a decision on such visas.
All other traveler’s having a foreigner’s passport, though being
NRIs holding non-Indian ones; OCI and Green Card holders will have to do
their biometrics at the China Visa Centre in Kathmandu prior application for
China entry visa. It takes a minimum of 3-4 working days for the Chinese
Embassy in Kathmandu to make such decisions. Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu
must receive the original passport, visa application documents and colored
recent photographs (prescribed size and format) from.
Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing
Morning: Temple Exploration
Our itinerary will take us to a temple tour after breakfast at 8:00 a.m. We
want to reach Pashupatinath Temple by 9: am for the lively ritual of aarti
in this main temple. Walk leisurely around the many small and big temples
dotting this complex immersing yourself fully in its spirit. After our visit
to the Pashupatinath Temple, we will proceed towards “Sleeping Vishnu”
temple (Jal Narayan Temple) and Guheshwari Mata temple where we shall learn
about the fabulous histories of these monumentally sacred places.
Afternoon: Return to Hotel and Thamel Market
When you have finished your temple visits, go back to hotel where final
arrangements will be me made ready for the approaching travel that is
getting into Nepal India – China border point. Thamel Market is a
changing hub that comes in handy if you need to buy for basic needs plus
things about hiking and adventure-related items.
Evening: Briefing and Group Introduction
In the evening, participate in a short program and group introduction to
foster friendship among other travelers. Spend a night in the hotel, eating
delicious dinner and imagining your day filled with useful activities.

departs from the domestic airport at roughly 6: 30 a.m., promises stunning

Day 03 : Kathmandu to Syabru besi
After breakfast, we will all board a bus to Syabru Besi (2380m). Given the
relatively short distance, difficult road conditions and traffic may lead to
a tiresome travel – 7-8 hours should be taken in order to cover one
hundred forty-eight kilometers. On arrival in Syabru Besi, you will be
lodged and served a delicious meal with an overnight stay there.

Day 4: Syabru Besi to Kyirong - Entering China
On this date, the group will cross border into China. As immigration
processes might be time-consuming and there can even be a crowd during it
therefore in order not to fall behind of its timetable schedule because so
many visitors come at once for tourist reasons the guide may agree with an
early wake up and breakfast on that morning to avoid them all togetherunting
brains over possible troubles of just standing After a brief drive, the
group will reach Nepalese border in Rasuwagadhi at (1850m) about 15
kilometers away from Syabru Besi. The group will go through immigration
procedures and walk across the border to Chinese side.
At the 110-kilometre journey to Kyirong (2700m), pilgrims will board a
Chinese bus. The journey ahead in the strong and comfortable trucks carrying
Tibetans at driving side accompanied by Nepalese Sherpas who were only
concerned about loading luggage, food as well water on to those coaches.
Guests will check into a guesthouse and are invited to unwind with hot tea
or coffee, light refreshments on arrival in Kyirong. The protected Nepalese
dinner will be served from 7 till 8 p.m., according to the local time, and
cooked with care by a professional chef of this country. Staying during
night will be at a Kyirong guesthouse in dormitory style.

Important Remark:
Due to the possible negative impacts of high-altitude traveling on health,
it is advised that all travelers be hydrated by consuming fluids such as
soups juices tea coffee or hot water. This method assists in rehydration and
promotes the respiratory system.
Day 5: Acclimatization Day in Kyirong
Today is devoted to the acclimatization process of Tibet’s challenging
weather conditions. A short hike near Kyirong will be arranged for you but
led by the tour manager to help your body adapt to the high altitude of
Tibet. Or you may stay the day in the guesthouse engaging yourself either by
Bhajan or Katha sessions.

Day 6: Kyirong to Saga / Zhongba
From Kyirong to Saga there will be a drive through mountainous areas and
Tibetan plains, it is said that this day would look picturesque. 4640m,
cross to the Brahmaputra River and head towards Saga (beautiful town) Saga
has good accommodations, local restaurants and markets to acclimatize.

Note: The group may continue to Zhongba for the night stay
if time and situation permit, reducing the driving time for the following
day to Lake Mansarovar. Please follow the guide's instructions.
Day 7: Saga to Lake Mansarovar
This significant date signifies the beginning of your pilgrimage to holy
Lake Mansarovar granting you a first look at sacred Mount Kailash. We begin
early for the long drive and there are traffic control points along the way.
Estimated departure time is around 7: 00 am. Reaching Lake Mansarovar and
Mount Kailash, stay at a guesthouse for dinner and an overnight stop.

Suggestion:
Night view of Lake Mansarovar: Travelers may even visit Lake Mansarovar
during the night under moonlight but should do so in a group and if
possible, together with a Nepalese Sherpa for support. Wear warm clothes and
take a flashlight and whistle along.
Day 8: Lake Mansarovar to Darchen
Early morning, take a bath in Mansarovar lake for holy bath, puja hawan and
whatever rituals you are accustomed to. Then proceed to Darchen, traveling
through Rakshasa Taal and Chiu Gompa before completing the parikrama of the
holy lake 70%. The final parikrama will take place later, after the
performance of kora for Mt. Kailash. Once in Darchen, stay at a hotel to
rest and prepare for the kora on the next day. Dinner and accommodation at
the hotel.
Day 09 : 1st Day kora/parikrama of Mt. Kailash, 13kms trek to
Dirapuk
Today, we head to Tarboche. All pilgrims have the opportunity to visit
Yama Dwar before trek (kora) starts. Tarboche is the point (towards the
South face of Mount Kailash) where you can hire a horse /pony to ride on the
trek during the kora. From Tarboche we proceed to Yama Dwar which is
considered to be the start point of Kailash kora. From Yama Dwar we start 13
kms trek to Dirapuk slowly and gradually. The trek to Dirapuk Gompa today is
fairly easy but as you walk in high altitude lack of oxygen in the air makes
the trek little difficult. On reaching Dirapuk the pilgrims will see the
majestic Mount Kailash standing high on right side of their trek. Take some
beautiful photos and then continue to your guesthouse near Dirapuk
Monastery.

Day 10: 2nd Day parikrama, 19kms trek to Zuthulpukh via Gauri
Kund
Wake up early in the morning for sunlight on Mt. Kailash, offering an
amazing view of the ‘Golden Kailash’. After breakfast, we will
be ready to begin the trek towards Zuthulphuk. This day is considered the
toughest day of this entire trip, as the trek goes steep up continuously up
to Dolma-La pass (5630 m) and then steep down to Gauri Kunda. Near Dolma La
Pass, you will witness colourful flags around and the belongings of people
spread nearby. This place is called Shiva Tsal (Shiva Sthal). It is said
that people performing parikrama must leave something behind. This may be a
used cloth or ornament, a drop of blood, or a lock of hair which symbolizes
the act of leaving this life behind and wishing for the end of a miserable
life. The total trek today we have to cover is about 19 km to reach
Zuthulpuk Gompa.

Day 11: 3rd Day 06 km trek to Darchen, Drive to Saga
This is our last day on Mount Kailash trek. Wake up and after light
breakfast we continue our trek down to reach Darchen. We walk on gradual
trek for about 6 km and reach at a point where the vehicles are waiting for
us. The vehicles will take us to Darchen where other group members are
waiting. After some refreshment, continue drive to Saga by completing the
remaining Yatra of Lake Mansarovar parikrama by vehicle.

Day 12: Saga to Kyirong
After breakfast, we begin our yatra towards Keyrung. We cross the bridge
over beautiful Brahmaputra River and continue our journey across the vast
open Tibetan plains. The journey offers stunning Himalayan views,
particularly of Shishapangma and the Pieko-Tso Lake. Driving on well-pitched
roads and mountainous terrain, we reach Keyrung for a night stay.

Day 13: Kyirong to Kathmandu via Rasuwagadhi
After breakfast, drive towards Keyrong border. Here we walk to the Nepalese
immigration control in Rasuwagadi, complete the Nepal entry formalities and
get transferred to your vehicle standing in Nepal side. Drive further to
Kathmandu. This drive may take about 7-8 hours or more by bus depending on
road and traffic conditions. Dinner and night stay will be in the hotel at
Kathmandu.

Day 14 : Fly back to home from Kathmandu
